Trash, Recycling & Dumping
Trash is collected weekly on Thursday by Emterra. Click here for more information. Recycling bins may be picked up at the Township Hall. First bin is free to each household, each additional is $15.00
Dump Permits are available at the Township Hall. Residents who pay for the Garbage Assessment on their Winter tax bill receive one permit per month. There is no fee for the permit, however, contact the Landfill for information on their fees (if any).

Beginning May 1st, 2019, a Burn Permit is no longer required for Thetford Township Residents. You must still call (810) 686-5432 EVERY TIME before you burn and follow the rules and regulations. Click HERE for a copy of the rules and regulations. There is a $500.00 fine for burning things that are not allowed or if there is a BURN BAN ON. It is your responsibility to call the burn line number (810) 686-5432 to verify you can burn that day.
