For those of you who don’t know I am the current Supervisor for Thetford Township. 2023 has been a very busy year for Thetford Township. We have used ARPA funds to replace the roofs on three of the Township buildings. The parking lots have been repaved with additional sidewalks for handicap access. Thetford Township in collaboration with Genesee County Parks added a Disc Golf Course next to the R/C airplane field on Genesee Road just south of Buell Lake County Park. The township hall has been equipped with TV’s and computer equipment for live coverage of Township meetings, to adhere to ADA Compliance for the residents. We are currently working on updating the township hall & kitchen as well as repairs and maintenance on the pole barn. And last, but not least Center Rd. from Farrand to Vienna Rd. was paved.
